Just pointing one of my friends to our travel blog and I thought – it’s been so long that I can’t actually remember the website address! So I went to check it and then thought “Where’s the link to my Ireland video?” – I haven’t put it up yet! No wonder nobody has viewed the video!
So, many apologies, here it is – our first trip to Ireland – but definitely not our last.
Oops! I’m so busy making videos that I forgot to post the link to our video on our website. This is the first part of our surprise trip to Vegas – well, it wasn’t a surprise to me of course, but it certainly was for Sue – we hope you enjoy and keep watching out for part two appearing soon.
It’s a little late for Easter but if you are looking for a nice day out with the kids this summer you won’t go far wrong at Gulliver Land. Our grandkids just had the best day, which was part of a long weekend also pulling in our trip to the Harry Potter studio tour.
Maybe this short video will give you a taste of what’s in store for the little ones.
A long time ago, we visited our friends Jim and Marie in Vineland, New Jersey, and while we were there we visited Jim’s local fire station where he was a volunteer fire fighter. One sunny day, we witnessed the Cumberland Country Fire Parade – a spectacular sight for any lover of fire engines! For those who remember the parade, enjoy the moment.
Hi – Well, 2019 is well upon us and I haven’t posted anything yet on the blog – which of course is a blogger “no,no” but sometimes you have to be patient, don’t you? Over Christmas and into the new year I have managed to finish rescuing old video footage from holidays years gone past, and now I’m into the difficult job of editing it all back together. Of course, the footage is in old 4:3 format, but surprisingly in good condition considering it is over 20 years old in some instances.
I’ll be publishing some of these memories under their own brand – World Traveller Archives.
Here’s a taste of what’s coming in the archives – this is our first trip to New York. It is ironic that at the time, there were two uninteresting skyscrapers in the background in many shots, while we focused our attention on the popular sights of the empire state building and the Statue of Liberty. If only we had known the infamy that was in store for those twin towers…
I just love that scene in the first film where he visits Diagon Alley for the first time with everyone recognising Harry. Continue reading “Video review : Warner Bros Tour”
Quicker than a speeding avocado, faster than you can say “Guacamole”, Rob and Sue’s World Traveller is in full swing again and hammering out reviews and videos left, right and centre.
Our latest offering is on our Youtube channel right now (Click here), detailing our recent return to the beautiful resort of Grand Principe Riviera Maya, in Mexico, so why not click on the link below and check it out. And for those of you who prefer to read than watch, the written review for the resort will be posted here within the next week.
Coming up soon, a family tour of Harry Potter world, our visit to Gullivers Land, our first visit to Ibiza and our ‘bucket list’ of travel destinations near and far, one or two of which we might squeeze in next year.
All suggestions very welcome.
Until then, I hope you enjoy our Mexican adventure, and please remember to like and subscribe when you visit.
